Rusty Plackett passed away early Sunday morning on 6/27/2021. He had a life insurance policy that would have paid for his funeral expenses, but his beneficiary is his 8 year old son. Because of his beneficiary age, the insurance company won't release the funds to the funeral home and Illinois law won't allow anyone to sign off for funeral costs to be covered. All costs have now been assigned to his oldest son Aaron Plackett as his signature on the contract with the funeral home makes him legally responsiblefor all debt incurred. To properly honor Rusty and lay him to rest with dignity, Aaron has accepted this responsibility without hesitation so that his dad can be layed to rest. Aaron does, however, have his own children and family to provide for. He understands that the cost is too high to ask for much, but any help that he can get will soften the impact and allow him, his brothers, and his family to continue forward without completely devastating their homes more than Rusty's untimely passing already has. Any donations are greatly appreciated by all of the family, and they thank you tremendously in advance.
