UPDATE: Bob gave us quite a scare yesterday. He had noticed some blood in his stool Saturday evening and had called Sioux Falls about it. They said not to worry unless it was excessive. He had many more bloody stools during the night and by morning was feeling dizzy, light headed and was on the verge of passing out. Called Sioux Falls again and they advised to take him to the ER in Marshall. He was then transferred to Sioux Falls. Doctors there determined that the bleeding from the resection was caused by the blood thinner he was on, so he was taken off that. He has had two transfusions so far to get his hemoglobin back up. Bleeding has subsided and hoping to come home tomorrow.
LAB TESTS from his colon surgery came back. It was stage 2 colon cancer. Doc said at this point he didn't think he would need radiation or anything, but will need to watch it closely and have yearly colonoscopies

My name is Juell Drietz. I am Bob Lasnetski's sister in law. I am requesting help in Bob's Cancer Recovery.
After a surprise trip to the ER and a colonoscopy Bob was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in early June. Bob had been sick and unable to work since roughly mid spring and will have many hard days ahead of him. Bob has since had surgery for a colon resection and has started in the recovery process, but being self employed, with this extended time off, Bob has had no steady income since becoming sick. Unfortunately the bills have been piling up and will certainly grow as recovery continues. Anyone who knows Bob will tell you he does not like attention on himself and has a very hard time asking for help! That is why we are asking for him. At this time we are asking for ANY financial support you can offer to aid with Bob's expenses as he continues to recover. Bob is hoping for a cancer free diagnosis and hopes to be able to return to work in 2-3 months. We appreciate any support you are able to give to help Bob during this tough time.
