My beautiful daughter, Gretchen, is going to Chile this August as an exchange student through our Rotary. She will be spending her Senior year of high school attending a school in Santiago Chile. This is a huge opportunity for her and an experience of a lifetime. She has a passion for other languages and has been taking Spanish for the last 3 years. Gretchen, Kay as some people know her, will immerse yourself in the Chilean culture and learn to speak Chilean Spanish. She's extremely excited to be able to go on this adventure, to help her to experience everything she can while in Chile, I am trying to raise money to help her go on some of the trips that they offer at an additional cost to what we are already paying. Below is three of the trips through Rotary, that she can go on, in addition she may have the opportunity to go on other trips while in Chile.

Gretchen leave August 15 for a completely awesome adventure as an exchange student in Chile. I will close out the fundraising on August 10th, so if anyone would like to help her raise money for her trips, there is still some time. Thank you to all who have helped her out.

Wow, we are less than a month away from Gretchen (Kay) heading to Chile for her Senior year of high school! A few set backs, financially, with wisdom teeth having to be pulled, extra trips to Denver for Apostille(s), and a new rotary blazer; we are still looking for any help she can get to help pay for some of her trips around Chile. She did receive $1100, in addition, to what she as gathered through Spotfund so far! Gretchen wants to say Thank you to all of you who have supported her with donations and words of encouragement. She is extremely excited, yet scared and nervous, the closer it comes to flying out! Please consider making a donation of any amount, $10 or even $20 would help. Thank you.
