My rescue cat Ziggaronamous has ear cancer not just on the ear in picture but he has growing mass in his neck near jugular and vital anatomy.. I'm told cutting the neck mass out may be too risky. If I can get $ for Advanced imaging to see what's involved in the tumor there may be a chance it could be removed before it spreads. I am hoping to see another vet and get 2nd opinion on the neck mass as well . Ideslly would to get him to veterinary oncologist. I actually have insurance for him - not enough and I have not been reimbursed for any visits so far so 😔- it's been over a month so running short on ways to pay .

Ziggy is a giant lover ! He came to me at a house where I just happened to be picking up some roofing materials . The landowner mentioned they were very upset with "that cat " for killing birds .. and said he was going to "disappear" soon. Meanwhile as we are talking and I'm getting uncomfortable with what I'm hearing ....this adorable fluff Muffin walks up and drops onto my feet🫠 so sweet .. all the while my female GSD dog is in the car 2ft away barking like a fool over this cat . Ziggy didn't care about that crazy dog ... Almost like he couldn't hear her .. is he deaf I asked ? No .. he had apparently showed up there and had been trying to get in 3 different people's homes ,.for weeks now they said 🥹 He just wanted a person... Food and place to call home. He was bold for sure ... I scooped him up put him in the car on my lap and we left..You may think I'm crazy but ... 2 years earlier I had put my male GSD MAX down and just before saying good bye I told him - come back to me please , don't let me pass you by ...you do something crazy get my attention.. so I can't walk by , let me I know it's you. 🤔This cat walking toward my 85 lbs Dog going bizirk and dropping down to lay at my feet was all the crazy I needed . I kid you not .. after a period of hiding outside at my house unable to bring himself to come in and believe he was allowed ... this guy has followed me around everywhere just like Max did. He has so many of Max's quirks and personality too that I became convinced this was my baby -come back to me . Soon he was spooning with my other GSD and schooling her too Just like Max used to do 😅 . Ziggy has grown up a lot over last 6 years to be nearly dog sized he is 40" long nose to back feet stretched out and weighs 25lbs. He loves to cuddle- people, dogs cats - doesn't matter he loves everyone. He loves to play - don't let his size fool you he's quite an active cat. He chases foxes away & run towards any animal dispute and intervenes. He schools dogs and has no fear 😅. He hands down has more personality than any furbaby I've ever had the joy of knowing, he an old soul for sure. He even beckons like a Maneki-neko cat which kill me every time- cause he looks so much like those statues. 🫠He also has cancer the same thing that took my Max from me 😞. I know I may not save him but can make him more comfortable and allow him to enjoy the time he has. He keeps putting his growing lump In my hand and looking directly at me like-um hey are you gonna help me. I want to help but 1) everywhere I call there waits for appointment weeks or months and I need full payment ..I had to push it back once already and now I'm 3weeks out from getting his ear mass removed do to not having payment.
I don't want to whine and have a pity party thats not me and I hate asking for help really.. I'm very much an I can handle person. If you know me you know this .. I fix everything and take care of others better than myself . .so I'm just going to say it's kinda be hit after hit. I inherited 3 pets when my mom passed away so in addition to Ziggy I have them to care for ..and have had with my own medical , dental bills & both my car and the one my mom left me needing thousands in repairs( just for parts - I'm doing work myself of course) I'm sort of drowning and scrambling to sell things trying to get everything covered and cards paid enough to squeeze this onto one. If you can't donate please check out my stuff for sale on marketplace or ASK if I have something if your looking for - anything. Have advice? I'll take that too!! .. If you are a vet or know a vet that can help ... I'll drive anywhere ....I have one car back up and running I'm ready to grab him and go wherever we can get help! I'm just feeling bit overwhelmed.
Removing the bleeding mass is top on my priorities . He is still feeling well but it is irritating him. Please comment with info ! Again anything helps . If his insurance does come through 🤞or by some miracle there $ to spare I promise to pay it forward to others or if you'd rather and can loan me $ I'll pay it back Will update how he is doing !
