Her name is Chelsea, but she has always loved being called Sea—a nickname that fits her spirit. The sea is vast, resilient, beautiful, and strong even when the storms won’t stop coming. For most of her life, Sea has been weathering storms few people ever see.

From childhood into adulthood, her life has been shaped by unanswered medical questions. Seizures that came without warning. Migraines so severe they stole her vision. Hormonal disorders, asthma, and relentless fatigue. Diagnosis after diagnosis, appointment after appointment—yet no clear cause, no lasting relief. For more than 14 years, Sea has fought for answers while trying to live a full, meaningful life.

And she did.

She has always been bright, creative, and driven—an overachiever with a gentle heart. She graduated high school a year early, earned her bachelor’s degree in business, and went on to hold a respected position with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Department, working inside the courthouse. It was there that she met the love of her life. After years of dating, they married, built a beautiful home together, and finally, for a moment, it seemed like the storms had quieted.

But they didn’t last.

Her health declined again—this time more aggressively. Ocular migraines and debilitating seizures made it unsafe for her to drive. Working became impossible. As her mother, the phone calls were terrifyingly familiar: Chelsea has been taken to the hospital by ambulance… again. Doctors still couldn’t explain why this was happening.

Medical bills mounted. Savings disappeared. Eventually, Sea was forced to sell her three-bedroom home and step away from her career—not because she lacked ability, but because her body would not cooperate. Determined not to give up, she moved to Jacksonville to be closer to the Mayo Clinic, hoping specialists there could finally help uncover the truth.

She did everything right.

She minimized her life down to the essentials. A small one-bedroom apartment. No extras. No luxuries. Just survival and hope.

Then, in February, the answer finally came—one no one ever wants.

Sea was diagnosed with stage III Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

The primary tumor sits between her heart and lungs, pressing on both. Every breath is painful. Exhaustion is constant. The pressure on her heart makes even simple tasks overwhelming. The cruel irony is that this cancer is curable—but only with timely, aggressive, and expensive treatment.

And that is why we are asking for help.

Sea is still in her twenties. She has already given up so much. She deserves a life not ruled by fear, hospital visits, or financial devastation. She deserves a future where she can breathe freely, work again, laugh without pain, and dream without limits.

Any donation—no matter the size—helps bring her closer to that future. Your generosity directly supports the treatments she needs to survive. If you’re unable to give financially, prayers, positive thoughts, and messages of strength are deeply welcomed and cherished.

Please help if you are able.
Help Sea fight this storm—so she can finally live the calm, beautiful life she has always deserved.

* We want to share a brief update regarding Sea’s health journey. While there are underlying medical concerns that may stem from an immune disorder, our immediate focus must be on treating the cancer. Right now, her strength and energy are directed toward healing and becoming cancer-free.

Once she has overcome this chapter, we will resume the search for answers and continue addressing any underlying health issues.

Thank you for standing with Sea, for your prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support during this time.
