Hi, my name is Angela Kataleya and I am 4 yrs old! Almost 1 yr ago I lost my right leg in a hit and run car accident. I not only lost the bottom half of my leg, but I also lost my mother in that accident. I am now being raised by my grandmother in El Salvador. She is a great and loving person and cares for me full time as I need round the clock care and she is unable to maintain a decent paying job. She can only afford to put food on our plate and is in debt with my medical expenses after the accident. I know that if she could she would give anything and everything for me, but unfortunately our financial and economic situation makes it almost impossible. I am just one year away from starting kindergarten and I'm very excited! I see kids playing and running and I wish to be able to be like the other kids. I know I will never be like other little boys and girls, but if had a leg prosthesis maybe one day I can run and play just like they do!
Hi everyone, I am the fund page creator for Angela. My name is Andy. My family and I met Angela on one our regular visits to El Salvador. Her story is one of many sad and terrible stories we've come across. But in this story there is opportunity to help and change this little angels life for the better and try to give her a "normal" life. I know recent times have been harder than ever for many if not all; and any donations would be truly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts and Angela's family most of all. All proceeds will go to Angela and her family for her prosthesis and their financial situation. The prosthesis has been estimated to cost $3000-$5000. Her prosthesis will be one that is able to be adjusted as she grows, thus costing a bit more.
