My best friend Mary is having a total knee replacement tomorrow, and while we are praying for a smooth surgery and recovery, we also know the months ahead are going to be difficult.
Mary is going to be out of work for quite some time while she heals and works through recovery and physical therapy. Like so many people, missing months of work can put a huge financial strain on a family, especially when the bills don’t stop just because you’re recovering from surgery.
Mary also helps support her daughter, Aaliyah, and her newborn granddaughter, Aubrii. Anyone who knows Mary knows how much her family means to her and that she would do anything she could to make sure the people she loves are taken care of. Right now, though, she is the one who could use a little help.
We aren’t asking for anything extravagant. We simply want to help take some of the financial pressure off Mary while she heals so she can focus on getting stronger and getting back on her feet without constantly worrying about how everything is going to get paid.
