UPDATE!! My Dad as of May 7th has signed himself to comfort care. They will no longer treat him or take him to the hospital there is nothing further more they can do and he's said he's suffered long enough 118 days of excruciating pain and sickness.. his infection has worsened. He just wants to die in peace with the help of comfort care. I'm preparing for the worst ahead of time cause we have no way to cremate or funeral etc. Please help if you can thank you...
My father has been sick and suffering for 21 years he started out with having deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. He had to have a IVC filter placed in his chest in 2003 which they never took out when they were suppose to now it's 100% concluded and one more clot they say could kill him.. well as of this year Jan 2022 he had stubbed his toe that caused alot more stuff to happen. It had started as a sore but spread through out both legs at first they thought it was diabetic sores but come to find out he doesn't even have diabetes. It had gotten worse over time they now label it as being chronic venous stasis ulcers with severe cellulitis and lymphdema. He's now suffered 91 days as of today with hardly any treatments at all subfair treatment without even pain medicine through 90% of this problem. They refuse to give it and think Tylenol and ibuprofen can do the trick.. awful Healthcare!!! He's had to bandage his own legs half the time taking him up to 4 hours at times making himself so weak and tired but he can't sleep due to the agony. I am trying to get him better help by getting him transfered into an out of state hospital that is better for these type of diseases. This is where I need America's help in saving my dad before it's to late. The hospitals say they can't do transferes and his medical won't cover it. I really don't want my father to die or live with this pain another minute He's endured enough and deserves to have a happy life for whatever time he may have left. He's been diagnosed with A-fib and Chronic heart failure along with kidney issues since all this leg stuff began in Jan. Please help save a life. All he does is pray for this to end so he can be with his family and hopefully live a long life.
