My name is Dushun Barnett, and I am starting this fundraiser in honor of my brother Jaceil Blanks.
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I share the tragic and sudden loss of my beloved brother, who was taken from us on August 23, 2025, in a senseless act of gun violence. Jaceil was an incredible person who touched the lives of so many. His humor, his bright smile, and his ability to light up every room made him unforgettable. He will always be remembered as the life of the party and deeply loved by all who knew him.
Our family is heartbroken and devastated by this unimaginable loss. While we continue to grieve, we are also faced with the overwhelming financial burden of funeral, memorial, and burial expenses.
