Hi, I’m Katelyn, and my dog Buddy means the world to me. After going through some tough times in a shelter, I finally have my own place here in Sacramento. While there, Buddy couldn’t stay with me, so I left him with a friend. Determined to come back to me, he tried to find his way home and ended up at a shelter. It was a heart-wrenching period, especially when I learned he was adopted out twice. Somehow, fate brought him back to me, and I’m so grateful for this little miracle.
Buddy isn’t just a pet; he’s a loyal companion who helps me navigate my mental health journey. Since coming back, he’s been quite ill from his time at the shelter. I’m looking to raise $1,500 to cover his vet bills and get him some essentials to feel comfortable in our new home.
