For as long as I can remember, I've been driven by a passion for healthcare and the ability to help others. Growing up in a competitive environment and being surrounded by so many healthcare professionals, I was always fascinated by the individuals who got to manage doctors, nurses, and even the entire hospital. Whether it was learning directly from friends who were in medical school or at my job recruiting nurses, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to understanding more and contributing to the idea of my intelligence being furthered.
After graduating from University of Utah with multiple degrees in Healthcare Promotion & Exercise Science, I've spent the past 10 years working, volunteering, and researching all aspects of the healthcare industry. These experiences have solidified my commitment to Healthcare Management and have shown me the profound impact I can make with advanced knowledge and skills.
That's why I'm incredibly excited to announce that I've been accepted to the prestigious graduate program at Texas Tech University for my graduate degree in Healthcare Management! This program is a perfect fit for my aspirations, offering renowned faculty, cutting-edge research, and unique opportunities. I'm particularly drawn to the management side of things; and believe that this program will provide me with the tools and mentorship I need to make a real difference in hospitals around the country.
However, the cost of graduate education is significant. While I've worked hard to save and have applied for scholarships and grants, I'm still facing a considerable financial gap. Tuition, living expenses, and research materials are all adding up, and I don't want financial constraints to prevent me from pursuing my dreams.
