I am reaching out because I’ve hit a incredibly difficult roadblock, and I need to ask for help—something that isn't easy for me to do.
Recently, I was laid off from my job. Losing my employment was a massive blow, but the timing has made a tough situation so much worse. Right now, I am stuck in Indiana, trying everything I can to get back home to Texas.
My son is back home and he is sick. As a parent, there is no worse feeling than being hundreds of miles away when your child needs you, unable to hold their hand or be there to support them.
Because of the sudden job loss, my funds are incredibly low, and I currently don't have enough to cover the travel expenses to make the journey back to Texas. I am doing everything I can to stretch what I have, but I am short of what it takes to get home to my boy.
