It is with a heavy heart that we are even needing to create this. On Saturday, 3/7/26, my brother in law Steven had a hemorrhagic stroke, causing a severe brain bleed in the brain stem. Being in the brain stem, unfortunately, meant no surgical intervention could take place without further damage. His medical team informed us that after multiple scans, tests, and doing everything to remove the pressure off of his brain, the damage was too severe and he would not recover. We had to make the hard decision to take him off life support. Steven selected on his driver's license that he wanted to be an organ donor, so we moved foward in the process with the help of the amazing LifeSource Team.
He leaves behind my sister Courtney (girlfriend of 10 years), and his two girls, Ella (3) and McKenzie (1 and a half).
Our whole world has been turned upside down, and we are raising money for daycare expenses and to help set the girls up for the future ahead.
