It is with profound sadness that we share the news of Margherita Tucci‘s passing after a long and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. She was just 52 years old.
Margherita Ciccone Tucci was a lifelong Harrison resident. She and her loving, devoted husband, Michael, raised two incredibly bright and beautiful daughters, Madelena and Mikayla, in Harrison.
Margherita was a giver in every sense of the word. As a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and community member. She never expected or asked for anything in return for her kindness and generosity. If you knew her in any capacity, you were lucky. If you were blessed to be in her circle, you were given a gift. Her family and loved ones meant everything to her.
Margherita was a warrior. She fought with everything she had against a ruthless and cruel disease and never complained. Never. She suffered in silence and endured so much, and always had a smile on her face. Her concern was always for others, her family, her friends, and most of all, her precious girls. She was a true hero to her family. Her husband, Michael, would lovingly call Margherita “my hero” and she just loved that.
We, her friends, with permission from her family, are asking for our community and beyond, to please come together to support and help alleviate some of the financial stress for her family during this incredibly difficult time. They are devastated beyond measure.
Any donation will be appreciated more than you know. We hope you’ll consider contributing. Please feel free to pass this along.
With much gratitude,
Margherita’s friends and family
