I Went to Walmart for Cat Litter and Came Home With 6 Kittens
A man was giving away six kittens for free outside Walmart. Within minutes, someone walked up and asked if they could take a couple for snake food.
I couldn’t walk away.
I handed over $50, took all six kittens, and figured I’d deal with the rest later.
Today they’re safe, fed, flea-treated, and curled up asleep in my home.
The good news is that a rescue has agreed to take them in and help find them loving homes.
The reality, though, is that while these may have been “free kittens,” they won’t be free to save.
Before they can move on to their next chapter, they need vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, microchips, and spay/neuter surgeries. For six kittens, those costs add up quickly.
I’ve created this fundraiser to help cover those veterinary expenses and give the rescue the resources needed to take them in.
Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping these six babies get healthy, fully vetted, and ready for adoption.
Yesterday they were “free kittens.”
Today they’re safe.
