We are raising money through our dance community to send to those in need in Ukraine. We will be working with an organization that will make sure that the funds raised are directly sent to bring relief and aid to Ukrainians in ways that matter most. At this point, we are choosing to send money to Sunflower for Peace, an organization dedicated "to helping Ukrainians during the Russian Military Invasion." https://www.sunflowerofpeace.com/

We invite you to join us at an online dance and wellness event to share some movement, history, music, and togetherness. We believe that people coming together through the power of art, dance, and music can go a long way when it comes to creating healing and health in the world. If you have a smile to share across our virtual dance floor please come and share it regardless of dance genre or experience. We invite you all to attend the online event featuring instructors from across the globe. If you are in a place in your life where you have a monetary donation to give, please do share it here to help those in need in Ukraine.

- Alina Sokulska from Ukraine who will share a solo jazz dance class followed by a brief session on the history and culture of Ukraine.
- International Lindy Hop Champion Remy Kouakou Kouame from France will offer a solo jazz class.
- Esteemed African Dance instructor Chisomo Selemani (from the United States) will lead an African dance party class.
We hope to provide some fun movement, mindfulness with meditation and yoga, creative ideas, history and culture about the world, and some great music from Ukraine.

- 2:00-2:45 pm - Solo Jazz with Remy Kouakou Koame from France
- 3:00-3:30 pm - Meditation / Mindfulness with Jai Saraswati from the US
Come to the entire event or pick a portion that fits your schedule!
Dancers...
While giving yourself the gift of movement and wellness, this is also a great opportunity to connect with the global dance community. By showing up, which we know is often the hardest step, you allow yourself to be a part of something bigger and something important. This event is about movement, awareness, sharing and caring. If you cannot make it, the dance class portions will be available for donors after the event via recorded Zoom videos.

Unfortunately, we don't have email addresses of donors via *spotfund, so you'll need to donate non-anonymously to be entered into the drawing. - Register to attend.
