Greetings Family and Friends,
As many of you may already know, our beloved sister, friend, cousin, niece, and auntie, Lakinya Moore, has transitioned. After a courageous battle with cancer, she passed away on June 2, 2025.
Kina fought with strength and grace, but sadly, she did not have life insurance to cover her burial expenses. I, her cousin Shurwanda Jolly, am reaching out to humbly ask for your help in giving her the dignified homegoing she deserves.
Some may wonder why she didn’t have insurance. The truth is, Kina had just started a new job and unfortunately, her benefits had not yet taken effect.
Kina was truly a ray of sunshine—always ready to help others and give the shirt off her back. If you’re able, please consider donating. No amount is too small, and every contribution is deeply appreciated.
