Hi I'm joy mitchener and I have a 10 year old little girl and last June we found out that I have acute myloid leukemia with a new 98 mutation and the mutation only 2% of adults get I'm 36 years old and it's just me and my husband and my daughter my husband's the only one that can work right now and things have been tough but while I was going through chemo the 1st time and I was missed I agnosed with the mutation I went through all the symptoms by myself here at home But I never let my daughter see me sick I never let her see her mother not strong through all of this and when I couldn't take it I'd send her to my parents so she wouldn't see her mother that sick after me After being told only have 2 months to live I decided that I was going to try clinical trial well it gave me pneumonia And I ended up in a 5 day medically induced coma. The doctors were telling my husband to get my affairs in order but i survived because I'm a fighter.  After that we tried a 4 chemo cocktail that to start it has started to work But really I'm going to raise money because I want to take my Daughter on a trip of a  Lifetime I want to be able to do things with her outside that come to find out actually cost money nowadays.  I would love to take her to Jackson Hawaiian to the Yellowstone National Park because she loves nature as much as her mother and I think we should be able to enjoy that together I may have some limitations but I have work going physical therapy to be able to take care of myself and to endure more things then what I should be able to do but I keep pushing myself because I want to do it for her.
