We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a deep sense of hope. Our beloved nephew, Rafi Azizi, a vibrant 14-year-old, has recently been diagnosed with leukemia. He lives in Afghanistan under very hard circumstances. This unexpected diagnosis has turned our world upside down, and we are committed to fighting this battle with everything we have.
Rafi’s Story:
Rafi is an incredible young boy with a passion for learning and getting top grades in his class. This has made him to achieve the highest rank in his class and school. He has always been full of life, laughter, and dreams. Unfortunately, this devastating illness has brought immense challenges and uncertainties to his life and ours.
The Challenge:
Leukemia treatment is an arduous and expensive journey. It involves multiple rounds of chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and possibly a stem cell transplant. Additionally, there are the indirect costs such as travel expenses, time off work for his parents, and the need for specialized care. We are determined to ensure that Rafi receives the best possible treatment and support, but we can’t do it alone.
Our Goal:
We have set a fundraising goal of $15,000 to cover the medical expenses and support needed for Rafi’s treatment and recovery. This includes:
• Chemotherapy and other medications
• Hospital stays and medical procedures
• Travel expenses to and from the hospital
• Living expenses during the treatment period
• Specialized care and support services
