DANCING FOR THE DOGS!!!
Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was very little and I love dogs and all animals for that matter. Why not combine my love of both and turn my passions into a purpose for a fundraiser for my Bat Mitzvah Project? The meaning of Mitzvah is a good deed, an act of empathy and kindness.
The recipients of this fundraiser will be Rescue Pets of Florida (RPOF) and the Tripawds Foundation.
RPOF is an all volunteer nonprofit organization that finds homes for dogs, cats, and horses too. Their mission is to vaccinate and spay and neuter and increase public awareness of the pet overpopulation issue. They are local to the Tampa area and I have been a part of the good work they do. ADOPT DON’T SHOP!!
My hound dog Cash lost his leg not that long ago due to an old injury and cancer. We were lucky that my family could afford to have the surgery for him and now he’s living his best life as a three legged tripawd without any pain. This incredible organization assists tripawds and the people that love them. I want all tripawds to be able to live amazing lives like Cash.
ABOUT THE EVENT- Come dance with me!!! A minimum donation of $18 is requested to participate in the danceathon. 18 is a popular number in Hebrew that means good luck.
The danceathon will be held on December 10th, 2023 from 3-5 pm at Athletes Retreat-1519 Gunn Highway Dr. Odessa, FL 33556. I hope all of my friends and family will join me. You can bring whoever you want but just make sure they register here and give the minimum donation. Anyone participating needs to let us know here by 11/26. Be sure to put in the comments name of dancer. Anyone can dance!!! 100 percent of what is raised will be given to these incredible organizations.
You can also get your grandparents, neighbors, friends etc. to sponsor you. The more money we raise together, the more animals we can help. Prizes will be awarded to the top three that raise the most money!!
Please bring a much needed pet supply item to the event such as dog food, toys, collars, leashes, bowls, gift cards to Chewy or Amazon, etc and earn a raffle ticket. Business sponsors are needed too, see amounts below.
