It is coming time for Thor's hip replacement suregery. It seems now that we need double hip replacement instead of just one, along with physical therapy afterwards. I have yet to find a good qualified veterinarian in the state of Florida, besides the universities, that can perform this. We might need to head back to Kansas city to his origional Orthopedic Doctor so he can have the surgery at a specialist and not a teaching hospital. However, my savings for his surgery have dwendled a bit due to some other health issues and emergency surgery with my other male dogs last year.  So I am reaching out to my friends and family for assistance in this matter. Thor is an amazing boy that has helped so many other dogs he has interacted with. He is resilent and strong. Never complains and still tries to chase a toy even though he struggles at times. The light machine has helped but it is no substitute. If you would like to donate to his surgery we would be grateful.
