After are visit with the ENT last week we have subsequently learned that Jeffs vocal cords is paralyzed. Over the last two months, Jeff has tried to practice “vocal rest," meaning he would do what he could to not say a word, but being the person he is talking and sharing and helping others is part of what he does.
We hate to ask for help but we don’t know what else to do. We just want to be able to help Jeff be whole again. Whatever you can do to help is greatly appreciated. And please share. We know the more people that can help the closer we will get to our goal. The procedure could increase Jeff chances significantly of regaining his voice This procedure is very expensive and Between the surgery, hospital stay, specialists, physical therapy and out of pocket medical expenses are adding up.
Jeff relies heavily on his voice and we need to do everything we can to improve his chances of recovery. After only two months without his voice, it is quite humbling to see how much we all take our voices for granted. Jeff has always been quick to help others, even during this ordeal, but is hesitant to ask for help himself when it comes to the cost of these potentially outcome and overall medical expenses. So, I am creating this account to ask family and friends for any financial help that they can provide (every little bit helps) or even just prayers and encouragement during this stressful time.
