HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN AFGHANISTAN
I'm raising money for Afghans who're in a desperate situation and need food. The humanitarian crisis in the country is looming large as the government employees have not been paid for the last 6 to 7 months, and winter is approaching.
If you're not following the situation in Afghanistan closely, the country fell to the Taliban two months ago. Since the banks are closed, and the government is non-existent, food prices have sky-rocketed. PEOPLE HAVE NOTHING TO EAT. Kids are going hungry most of the days. I receive constant messages from people saying that they're in a desperate situation. Their FAMILIES need food and medicine.
Khaliq who's a cleaner at the Ministry of Education only receives about $100 a month salary. He is living in a rented place with his wife and 4 children (2 girls, 2 boys). He spends half of his monthly salary on rent, and the remaining $50 on food. He has not been paid for almost 7 months now and has no other source of income. Afghans like Khaliq have been reaching out to me for the past couple of weeks asking if I could help them and their families. They are in a desperate situation and NEEDS OUR HELP.
WE ALL CAN HELP OUT FAMILIES LIKE Khaliq by contributing to this cause.
Thank you.
