Hello, my name is Walter Odek and I am the Youth Pastor at the Anke and Walter Children's Center. Our ministry began when I lost both of my parents at age 16 and the clan took all my families belongings and left us orphans to fend for ourselves. It was at this time, my current Lead Pastor found me on the streets at 16-years-old and I was ministered and provided for by him ultimately leading my Pastor & Bishop (Bishop Julias & Pastor Sam) taking me in and since then and that is why I am so passionate about providing the love of Christ as well as providing for their physical needs and insuring another child or widow never experiences what I did! I gave my life to Christ in 2004 and together in 2020 we opened the Children's Center.
Please join us in providing for the needs of our children in Kisumu, Kenya. Please help us in providing for our village which includes the many widows & orphans cared for at our center! We are always in need of food (monthly cost to feed our 206 widows and orphans is around $240-$500 depending on supplies gathered/needed), shoes, medical supplies, sanitary pads, school supplies, clothes, mosquito nets, and so many more daily items! Right now what we need most is mattresses, bedding, and mattress covers as the ones we have are worn out desperately. 
Anything you are led and willing to donate matters, even small amounts wil provide straight to our ministry at our village. Your donation will be such a blessing to us with all the love and support in ANY amount! It adds up! The money you donate goes directly to us and never through a third party or for fees. If you are unable to help at this time, we simply ask that you please keep us in your prayers. We humbly ask that you post your prayer requests/needs and our village will come together collectively to pray for you and your requests. Our past sponsor passed as a result of COVID and we have been struggling as a village since. The children will say thank you for the blessings through videos and pictures of items purchased by your donations as well as proof of distribution of any and all items purchased. We will provide updates frequently on this Go Fund Me campaign. By donating, You will have brought so much joy and proof of answered prayers to our village and people in our ministryby providing for them, and answering our prayers for help! I am pleased to let you know that they know that God will answer our prayers. You all are God's hands and feet to the widowed and orphaned! You will have let them know that they are loved and not alone.
