Our sweet Paityn entered this world earlier than expected at 36 weeks and 6 days via an emergency C-section on December 18, 2025. Before we even had the chance to fully prepare, we learned that she would be facing serious medical challenges and would need multiple surgeries in her first months of life.
At just 5 days old, on December 23, 2025, Paityn underwent her first surgery to have a VP shunt placed in her head to relieve dangerous fluid buildup and pressure on her brain. About a week and a half later, she faced yet another procedure—this time to place a balloon in her heart to help keep a valve open.
Paityn has been diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital heart condition that affects how blood flows through her heart. One of her valves is not functioning properly and will require open-heart surgery, scheduled for May 2026.
Despite everything she has already endured, Paityn is incredibly strong. She is a fighter, and she is deeply loved by so many.
While we stay by Paityn’s side at Children’s Hospital in Dallas, life at home doesn’t stop. She has two older brothers and two older sisters who still need care, stability, and support. Bills, gas, meals, and everyday expenses continue, even in the midst of medical uncertainty.
We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution—no matter how small—will go toward easing the financial strain so we can focus fully on Paityn’s care, recovery, and being present for all of our children.
If you’re unable to give, we ask that you please keep Paityn in your prayers and share her story.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, love, and support.
