Hi, my name is Sarah, and I live in the Salt Lake area. Lately, I haven’t been able to ignore how many people in our community are struggling just to get through the day. Seeing people without food, water, or basic necessities has really stayed on my heart, and I feel like I can’t just walk past it anymore.
This Easter season, I’ve felt a strong pull to do more—to love my neighbors in a real, tangible way and to show up for people who may feel unseen or forgotten. I believe this is a time to give, to serve, and to remind others that they are not alone.
My goal is to create and distribute care kits filled with food, water, and essential items to individuals experiencing homelessness throughout Salt Lake City.
Each kit will include things like bottled water, non-perishable food, hygiene products, and other basic necessities—simple things that can make a really hard day just a little bit easier.
I plan to be fully transparent throughout this process. I will be sharing regular updates, including photos of supplies, receipts, and the process of putting the kits together, so you can clearly see how your donations are being used and the impact you’re helping create.
Every dollar raised will go directly toward assembling and distributing these kits to people who truly need them.
Even a small donation can mean a meal, clean water, or a moment of comfort for someone who is struggling. If you’re not able to donate, simply sharing this can help reach someone who can.
Thank you for helping me turn compassion into action and for being part of something that can truly make a difference.
