I really did not want to make a donation plat form for myself because I’m so embarrassed that I can not pay by bills alone. I work a full time job as a veterinary assistant. I am in school to be a veterinary technician in my 4th semester although I’m behind on those payments to so I’m struggling to graduate. When I’m not working I have been trying to door dash to supplement. This is also very hard because I don’t have the village I need to help with my kids. I have 3 kids, and do mostly everything with my soul income. My rent is literally 90% of my total income. My family supports me as much as they can but they can not help with money. I got behind in rent the last few months because my regular job has been slower than normal, I had school shopping I had to do, and had to pay a big chunk of money towards my electric bill because they tried shutting it off on me. I also have been having to choose groceries over paying my full rent. I know times are tough for everyone and I’m not looking for a hand out, but if anyone can help I would be so appreciative. I am even trying to sell my car if anyone is looking for a car. I will sacrifice whatever I own to make sure my kids end up being ok in the end. My landlord is giving me until tomorrow to pay the balance I owe in back rent before she proceeds with the start of an eviction. I don’t want to get evicted especially because my kids love the school they are In, I have 2 big dogs that I do not want to have to rehome they are my whole life along with my kids , and it’s extremely difficult in my area to find housing especially for someone with my soul amount of income. Please even if someone can direct me in the right direction to find the help I need. I did reach out to DSS and they claim they can not help me unless I quit my job because I make “too much “ money but unfortunately I struggle to even eat half the time.
UPDATE : I did not come up with the money in time to stay at my current home. I now have 1 month to move out. 1 month and a half of I let them take me to court and do an eviction proceeding. I have no money saved to move. All the money I make I have been trying to give the landlord for rent, feed my kids, my dogs, and bills like car insurance, phone bill, and gas in my car. Now as of today 10/27 I got a knock on my door from central Hudson with a threat of my electric being shut off on 11/3 if I don’t come up with a minimum payment of 4000$ for a payment arrangement. It is freezing out and my kids need heat!!! I am barely surviving!(I know so many others are in the same situation) I work full time, I door dash when I have baby sitters(which is not often). I don’t know what to do. At this point I need to come up with money to move, and money to pay electric until I move. I haven’t even found a place to move because there is nothing available in my area that allows dogs, don’t request a 700 credit score, and 6000$ to move in. I’m so stressed out.
