Hello friends,
My name is Demetrius Lee and I have been trying to figure out the next step in my life since my mother's passing of breast cancer back in 2014. During this time, I replaced my employment path in the food and beverage industry to pursue Stand up comedy and acting. I'm sure your thinking what brought about this change later in life..... When my mom was battling cancer for the last 5 years of her journey I had numerous conversations with her about things that she wished she had done, and she made me promise on her death bed that I wouldn't have the same case of "The what ifs". Over the course of a decade I became very comfortable doing stand up comedy, I felt as though this is the very reason I'm on this journey. I'm organizing this fund raiser in an attempt to raise 4k to assist in my cross country tour to promote my name and continue to make short videos documenting my trip as well as the people that I meet and perform in front of. Enclosed is a picture of the goof ball named Demetrius aka "D".
