Hello dads!!!!
Sorry I missed the call on the live last night I was at a church event. Not realizing I was being blessed by the group when the call came in, I saw the missed call and didn’t think much of it, once I started watching the playback of the live I started to think….wait….don’t tell me I was selected. I finished the live and boom… there it was. I normally donate early in the week but yesterday I donated at the last minute. What’s ment to be is ment to be I guess. Still can’t believe it, I’ve been part of this group since day one, it’s such an amazing group and so many awesome dads in here.
A little about me, I’m a single father of two. My son is 16 and and daughter is 12. I have full custody of both and they are with me 100% of the time. Mother is in communication with them but lives 800 miles away. She visits a coulple times a year with supervised visits. It’s a long story on how and why I was granted custody. Not for the light hearted. What I will say is for those dads that are fighting for their children I’m living proof that it is possible. Don’t ever give up the fight, children need their fathers. They need their mothers too don’t get me wrong but in my circumstance things are much better this way in my case.
I’m a plant manager at a commercial print shop. We print all sorts of material from panphlets, brochures, stiched books and also retail packaging. I’ve been in printing my whole life. I’m originally from Southern California where my father ran a big print shop. I grew up in the industry from a small child. It’s in the blood. Around 8 years ago I moved to Colorado to get out of the industry. My father passed away and at that time we had a family business in print finishing. Inheritance isn’t gaurenteed so after he died a lot of things got ugly and I walked away from that company. It was the hardest thing I ever did. Landed here in Colorado and fell right back in the trade, that alone proved to be one the greatest things I ever did, after that things only got better. Multiple promotions slower pace of life from the big city was just what i needed. I continued to fight for custody from a distance and god has his plan. A few years after I moved and lots of court hearings later I was granted full custody. Super rare I known that but super blessed. Im a heavily invovled father. I do not miss sporting event im at all the practices and games and never miss. I fought so hard to be part of their lives i soak it all up. I was alienated for a long time and at one point like many dads i wanted to give up, plenty of dark days in my past but i’m telling you, when you look back its a spec in a beautiful life. DONT EVER GIVE UP!
Thank you to all the dads that are part of this group you guys are all amazing. That’s all I have for now, there is a lot more to my story that’s for sure.

Frequently Asked Questions
- What is this about? Bless A Dad is about dads coming together to spotlight one dad each week. We invite the community to gift him $2. When we all give a little, it adds up to something really big... not just financially but emotionally & spiritually. It's not about the money, it's about reminding a father, his family, that he is seen, loved, & worthy.
- How do we select a Dad of the Week? Dads are ALWAYS chosen at random. They are NOT chosen based off their trauma stories or whether they have gifted in the past.
- How do I get on the list to be selected as the next Dad of the Week? To join our Facebook Group and join the list to be the next Dad of the Week, Click Here
- Do I have to gift to get on the list? Gifting is never required to be on the list, all dads are welcome.
- Do I have to gift the Dad of the Week? No. Every dad deserves to feel seen, supported, & blessed regardless of her ability to gift. That being said, we do hope you'll consider gifting when you can. That small $2 is what makes such a huge impact when we all come together! But we understand what it's like to have $2 feel like $200 & we will never exclude a dad bc she can't give.
- Am I guaranteed to receive gifts if I am the Dad of the Week? No. This group offers no prizes or guarantee of gifts. We could select a random dad & he receives no gifts at all. We have no idea how many gifts dad will receive. It could be zero or it could be 20,000 but we offer no guarantee of any monetary prize.
