Richard Ansah was our student in NYC public schools fifteen years ago, and we have remained in touch with him all these years because he is an extraordinary young man. He was kind, gentle, and caring student and we were saddened to learn he recently lost his father, Owusu Ansah. Richard describes him as the pillar of both the nuclear and extended family and a blessing to everyone who knew him. He was a humble, respectful, and hardworking man, and a legend in his hometown in Ghana. We would like to help the family through their grief by providing help with transporting Mr. Ansah's body back to Ghana for a traditional burial.
