My name is Sally, I live in the United States, and I am organizing this campaign on behalf of Aya Batah.
Aya was severely injured in a bombing that required her to have 6 operations while in Gaza, but she was still left in critical condition. She was able to be evacuated to Egypt, but she is still in need of additional operations and lifelong medical treatment. Currently, she currently cannot afford the treatment that she needs. She is not only unable to meet medical costs, but she also is struggling to secure funds for basic everyday survival necessities like housing and food.
Aya has provided me with paperwork to verify her situation and has shared her location with me via whatsapp.
She has very few family members remaining in Gaza that she is rarely able to contact.
Aya’s life was completely ripped away from her at no fault of her own. She has no one to help her through this except for people like you. Funds are critically needed for medical care, food, and rent. Palestinians who have been evacuated often do not receive the support that they so desperately need, please do not let this be Aya’s experience.
