I'm Mari, and my wife Carys and I are a disabled couple living in the Midwest with our cat Minsk. Ongoing medical and disability issues have let us fall far behind in our property taxes, and if we do not pay $3100 to the Collector of Revenue, our home will be sold in a tax sale on 24 August 2026, leaving us disabled, unemployed and homeless. We have tried to raise the money by refinancing, but it will not be completed in time.
