I am a volunteer for heart of passion. It is a for teens by teens fundraiser where we raise funds and plan a four day retreat for teens with cancer. This is my second year volunteering and I remember last summer spending a week with these teens was so impactful. They came into Heart Of Passion strangers and left with friends. Going through chemo kids spend extended amounts of time in the hospital and with their parents. They miss out on hanging out with friends and are often stressed. It is our mission to make them feel comfortable and allow them to destress after spending so much time in their hospitals. Please consider donating to Heart Of Passion because this event is so meaningful to everyone involved. Even a twenty dollar donation can buy a meal for a guest during the retreat.
