March 6,2022 my nephew Chris and his fiancée Samantha welcomed a brand new baby boy into their family. 
Baby is doing great, but his momma has had a rough couple weeks and it's about to get much worse- 2 emergency surgeries before delivery to remove blood clots, a scary delivery, a pulmonary embolism, and a pelvic fracture.
As of today, she has had 5 more surgeries. 
Tomorrow she was supposed  go in for ANOTHER surgery but the surgeon is now saying she has to stay there for another week before she can have it done so that hopefully she has enough healthy tissue for a prosthetic. At that time she will lose her foot and likely part of her leg.
Chris is self employed and has been unable to work for the last couple weeks.  Whatever happens with the surgery next week, this family is going to need lots of help. Sam will need care, the baby will need care, Chris can't leave them so this medical crisis has turned into a huge financial crisis that will be very long term and leaving them in a desperate situation.
