Tavin has been approved for this amazing experience to be a foreign exchange student in Germany this upcoming school year through Rotary Youth Exchange. He will leave in August 2023 and won't return home again until June or July of 2024.
A word from Tavin:
"It would mean so much to me as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. This exchange program will allow me to come face to face with another culture and be able to experience that by living there and going to school. It's going to be a great chance for me to grow as a person by putting myself in an uncomfortable situation with the language barrier and being away from my family for a long period of time before college. On this Exchange I will be able to fulfill one of my dreams of going out of the country and seeing all the beautiful nature and cool cities. This program means a lot to me and I'm super excited.
