Luna Verde Sanctuary is a place where forgotten, abandoned, neglected, and injured animals are given a second chance at life.
What began as a labor of love has grown into a safe haven for chickens, roosters, ducks, dogs, cats, and many other animals that had nowhere else to go. Every animal here has a story. Some were abandoned. Some were rescued from neglect. Others arrived sick, injured, or simply unwanted. At Luna Verde, they are met with compassion, patience, proper care, and the opportunity to live the rest of their lives in peace.
Running a sanctuary is a daily commitment. Every day brings the need for nutritious food, clean water, veterinary care, medications, shelter repairs, bedding, and supplies. The work never stops, and neither does the love that goes into caring for these animals.
