Music Teacher from Gaza - Help Save My Family and Restore Hope
My name is Sameh, a 47-year-old man, a father of four, and a music teacher who has dedicated his life to teaching the melodies that bring joy to others' hearts.
But my life, like the strings of my broken oud, was shattered in a single night.
In an instant, a shell struck our home, and our dreams disappeared amid the dust and smoke. Not only were our house and belongings destroyed, but my hopes, stability, and reason for continuing in life were lost.
The home that was destroyed is still under mortgage that I am obligated to repay.

We fled amidst the sounds of explosions-injured, with my eldest daughter bleeding from her head and needing urgent stitches... our only goal was to survive.
For more than a month, we slept on the cold floor of a school, without mattresses or blankets, with empty stomachs. We were so exhausted that we fell asleep standing, while sickness and hunger surrounded us from every side.
Today, we are still displaced, moving from one place to another, staying with relatives whenever possible, and our meager income barely allows us to survive.
The pain did not end with losing our home…
My youngest daughter now suffers from chronic joint and bone pain, caused by trauma, cold, and hunger. She urgently needs treatment and medicine, but none are available here. Her mental health, like thousands of children in Gaza, is burdened by fear and trauma.
As for me, I lost not only my home but also my profession. My musical instruments, which were my soul and my voice, were destroyed under the rubble. It felt as if my heart was being crushed before my eyes.
Why I need your help
Your donation can change our lives. It will help me:
Get medical treatment for my illnesses (diabetes and high blood pressure).
Secure urgent treatment and medicine for my youngest daughter.
Rent a safe home to protect my family from homelessness.
Pay off the mortgage for the home that was destroyed.
