My bonus son means the world to both his father and me. We are fighting to get primary physical custody of him due to this past year the other parent is neglecting him both educationally and hygiene wise (he's 7 and still in pull ups bc she refuses to follow court order and keep up his hygiene; and also allowed him to fail 1st grade). With child's best interest, he would be better off living with his father. His lawyer quoted him $2,500 for down payment not including any additional payments after that due to other court contempts she is in contempt of. Each contempt to file is 1k to start. She thinks she is above the court order and does not have to bring him to his father any time she wishes (she makes up lies that we find evidence on). His son needs a better atmosphere/ environment learning wise and with parents that are more responsible with taking care of him. Please help in any way you can. Thank you and God Bless!
