My friend is 43 and was in an abusive relationship for 8 years and during that time of mental and physical abuse she has been beaten up and thrown around she went through so much pain. She is 4'11" and and weighs 130 and her attacker weighs 210# solid muscle, so he was able to mangled her spinal cord in her neck area and her lower back area severely by body slaming and severe blows in the back while being held to the ground by him with all of his weight pressed on her back. The Doctors were suppose to do both surgeries at the same time but could not, due to the exstensive damage in her neck area which they found that the spinal cord was coming to the point of severing and failing to the point of being paralized, so they opted to only do the neck area and schedule the lower back surgery later. So she is out of the hospital at home doing therapy and recovering
she is now jobless she was doing home health care helping other people she was helping the hurting, but at this time she cant help any one and is in need of help herself
