Help Tevin Recover After Being Shot Three Times
Tevin was recently the victim of a shooting that left him with three gunshot wounds.
After the shooting, he was hospitalized and admitted to the ICU because of the severity of his injuries. Thankfully, he has since been released from the ICU and is currently continuing treatment as he begins the long road to recovery.
Tevin works as a server, so his income depends heavily on being physically able to stand, walk, move around, and use his arms throughout his shifts. Because of his injuries, he is expected to be unable to work for several months while he heals and works toward regaining his strength and mobility.
Anyone who knows Tevin knows that asking for help is not easy for him. He is very independent and usually tries to handle everything on his own. Even while recovering, one of the biggest things weighing on him has been how he will continue paying his rent and everyday bills while he is physically unable to work.
Right now, the goal is to take some of that financial pressure off of him so he can focus on healing.
Funds raised will help with rent, utilities, food, transportation to medical and follow-up appointments, medications and recovery-related expenses, and basic living costs while he is unable to work.
This has been an overwhelming and life-changing experience for Tevin and everyone who loves him, but everyone is extremely grateful that he survived and is still here.
