Ahmed Update:

Hello dear friends and supporters ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to every person who has supported Ahmed.  Every single dollar counts, adds up, and makes it possible to continue dreaming and believing that a better future is possible.

There is still an urgent need for Ahmed to raise funds for his and his family’s survival and future.  As you know, Ahmed has had to put his dream of attending university in the UK on hold.  Like so many dreams from his life before, this dream is waiting for a better time, another chance.

At this moment, Ahmed has decided to DEFER his admittance to the Uk university in hopes that he can raise the funds or find a scholarship for next year.  We still need your help.

Meanwhile, he has been accepted to university inside Gaza to pursue a Masters in Biotechnology.  He still needs to pay fees of about $900 USD for this semester alone.  Thanks to your support, this has come down from $1000.

In Gaza survival is costly and he is caring for his family.  He continues to work in his community and volunteer.  He deserves a chance to continue his education, and advance his life with hope and belief.

Rebuilding a Dream: An Update on His Journey

For a young pharmacy graduate in Gaza, education has always been about more than a degree—it is about gaining the knowledge and skills to serve others.

After completing his Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and Biotechnology, he is now continuing his education at the Master’s level in Biotechnology in Gaza, building on his academic background and preparing for a future in healthcare and research.

He was also recently accepted to a university in the UK, an opportunity that could have transformed his future. Unfortunately, the enormous cost of studying abroad, combined with the devastating circumstances in Gaza and his responsibility to support his family, made it impossible to pursue at this time.

Still, he continues to serve his community. He volunteers in local hospitals and clinics and helps our organization coordinate humanitarian efforts on the ground in Gaza, supporting families facing displacement, shortages, and urgent medical and basic needs.

At the same time, he is responsible for providing for his own family, making it extremely difficult to continue his education without support.

Right now, he needs approximately $1,000 to cover entry fees and registration for one semester of his Master’s program.

This is more than a university fee. It is an opportunity to keep his education alive and continue building the future he has worked so hard for.

A Life-Changing Opportunity for Ahmed Al Ashqar – We Need Your Help

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Ahmed Al Ashqar on his educational journey. Your generosity has given him hope during unimaginable circumstances.

Today, we have an exciting and urgent update.

Ahmed has been offered what is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: a place at the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom to pursue a Master’s degree in Cancer Biology and Immunology. Building on his pharmacy education and experience, Ahmed hopes to dedicate his career to cancer research and contribute to the search for better treatments—and ultimately, a cure for cancer.

This opportunity represents not only the chance to fulfill his academic dreams, but also a path toward a safer and more stable future.

However, there is a major obstacle. Before Ahmed can be permitted to leave Gaza, the university requires that his tuition fees be secured. He must raise £32,500 for tuition, and the total amount needed is approximately £50,000 to cover all essential expenses.  This amounts to nearly 70,000 usd.

In addition to tuition, Ahmed urgently needs funds for:

• Living expenses in the UK

• Visa application fees

• Required deposits

• Initial settlement costs upon arrival

Without these funds, Ahmed risks losing this extraordinary opportunity before he is even able to begin.

Despite the immense challenges he has faced, Ahmed has remained committed to education and to using his knowledge to help others. This Master’s program will allow him to combine his pharmacy background with advanced research in cancer biology and immunology, preparing him to make meaningful contributions to the fight against one of the world’s most devastating diseases.
