My name is Lauren, and I'm 12 years old .  My parents lost custody of me and my brothers and sisters 9 years ago ,  then 6 years ago my father was murdered. My mother never gave up , she is 5 years clean from heroine, and we are back in her care . She try's very hard to take care of us , she recently quit her job working as a manager at dollar general we had no reliable sitter, and other times we could not afford it. My mother is in school to be a pharmacy technician and she takes care of pets shes a pet sitter. I see her hard work every day and i want to be able to help her get a house big enough for all of us , so we can STAY TOGETHER
