I just purchased the vehicle April 25 of 2026 in Virginia. We live in Alabama and we're driving home enjoying our newly purchased vehicle heading that way. My girlfriend and I take a quick pitstop to grab gas and a few drinks. As we merge on the highway and pick up pace to match highway speeds our top on our vehicle snaps open shattering both left and right side control arms for the top of the vehicle. Stunned, we scramble to find help and close the top. My father drives up to see if we are ok. The best my girlfriend and I could do is hold the top down for the time being and drive the last hour home in the rain.
I am not asking much or anything truly just help and empathy for I expect neither the bank or any party in system to help with this freak accident. This is also coupled with us having our apartment condemned due to our breaker not being repaired (not the one's shown in the background that is my father's residency) and doing everything for rehousing. It has been a long 2 months and am just looking for help on this one front only.
