❤️ Help Protect a Family Under Attack: Stand With Rob & Tonya as They Fight for Safety, Justice, and Hope
Some stories are hard to tell — not because they’re complicated, but because they’re painful.
This is one of those stories.
Since August 16, 2025, our family has been living through something we never imagined could happen in America. We have been targeted, harassed, followed, threatened, and dragged through a legal nightmare by individuals driven by extremist beliefs and fueled by hate. What began as a single frightening encounter has spiraled into a relentless campaign of intimidation that has shaken our sense of safety to its core.
We are sharing our story now because we cannot fight this alone anymore.
💔 A Family Already Struggling — Then the Attacks Began
In the last 24 months, both Rob and Tonya have undergone major, life‑altering surgeries.
- Rob required heart surgery and a pacemaker replacement
- Tonya underwent serious back surgery replacing L5 & L4 discs
These procedures were essential — but they drained our savings, wiped out our emergency funds, and left us physically and emotionally vulnerable.
Just as we were trying to heal, the harassment began.
We have endured:
- Repeated stalking and following
- Threats and death and intimidation
- Online harassment
- Attempts to contact and target our daughter at her workplace
- A barrage of legal pressure designed to exhaust and silence us!
We tried to represent ourselves in court, obtaining a protective injunction, believing it would be simple. Instead, six hearings later, we are still fighting — and the emotional toll has been devastating.
⚖️ Why We Need Help Now
We have finally found an attorney willing to take on our case — someone who understands the danger of extremist harassment and the importance of protecting families like ours.
But the retainer is $7,000, and after medical bills and months of legal battles, we simply do not have it.
We are raising $7,000 to:
- Secure legal representation
- Protect our daughter
- Defend our home
- Restore our safety
- Stand up to hate‑driven intimidation
Every dollar goes directly toward legal protection.
🏳️🌈 A Climate of Hate We Never Expected to Face
One of the individuals involved in this situation is represented by an attorney who has been publicly criticized for hateful rhetoric — including being sued by an LGBTQ+ advocacy organization for allegedly posting harmful and discriminatory content. Goud Maragani representing James Stembridge (i.e. done prison time for aggravated assault, prior protective orders against him, prior convictions of fraud, stealing, impersonating an officer, unlawful detention of a witness, DUI's, etc.) His history is long and continues today, and my family has now become his target.
We share this not to attack anyone personally, but to show the environment of hostility we are up against. When people with extremist views use the legal system as a weapon, ordinary families like ours become targets.
We refuse to be bullied into silence.
We refuse to live in fear.
But we cannot stand alone.
🤝 This Is a Call to Every American Who Believes in Safety, Justice, and Community
If you believe no family should be stalked, threatened, or harassed for speaking up…
If you believe hate should never win…
If you believe in protecting people who are trying to protect their children…
Then we are asking — humbly, urgently — for your help.
Your support does more than fund a legal defense.
It tells our daughter that good people still exist.
It tells extremists that communities stand together.
It tells families like ours that America still protects the vulnerable.
