I am a survivor of September 11th 2001, AKA 911. I was working as a salesman in Lower Manhattan. I arrived for work that day at 8:00 AM and started walking home to Queens around 2:00 PM. I am a member of the World Trade Center Health Organization and have been certified for "PTSD" and "COPD". I have not held a job since December of 2001! I lost all of my savings and the COOP I owned. The World Trade Center Victim Compensation Fund paid me a small amount for COPD, but it will not compensate me for PTSD. VCF has passed into law, discrimination against people with PTSD, a mental illness you get from experiencing extreme trauma. I am not the only one in this position. I am now collecting Social Security and have trouble paying my many Medical bills and all my other expenses in an economy where the price of food goes up every week.
