I’m about to lose my home.
My name is Camila. I’m an immigrant from Ecuador living alone in the United States, and right now I’m facing one of the hardest moments of my life.
I was hospitalized for almost a month, and during that time I lost my job. I’m now working again and actively trying to get a second job, but I haven’t been able to catch up financially.
At this moment, I’m two months behind on rent and running out of time. I’m doing everything I can to fix this on my own, but I can’t do it fast enough.
I’m asking for help so I can stay in my home and have a chance to stabilize while I keep working and rebuilding my life.
