Mohammed’s Dream Team: Delivering Aid & Hope to Child Amputees & Refugees of North Gaza
Mohammed Shaaban has endured unimaginable losses in his 10 years. As a triple-amputee, a refugee living in a tent, and survivor of an ongoing genocide, he is no stranger to a life filled with endless and inescapable traumas. Every day is a fight for one’s existence in North Gaza, Palestine.
Yet although Mohammed was robbed of an innocent childhood, he was gifted with an overflow of optimism and the ability to inspire people from all over the globe.
And although he has yet to experience his own personal dreams come true, and longs for the day he can travel to a safe place and acquire prosthetics, Mohammed is currently more focused on how to immediately help his neighbors who are also living through the same struggles that he has known for years.
With the help of kind-hearted donors, Mohammed was recently able to conduct his first food distribution project to assist needy families living in refugee tents within his camp.
