We are a big, blended family. Between my husband and me, we’ve raised 9 kids together. He has 1 from before we got together and 5 we had together, along with my niece and nephew, and now we’re raising our great-niece too. Our home has always been full of love, support, doing whatever it takes to show up for our kids, with a little bit of chaos and noise mixed in 😂.
Right now, one of our kids is about to do something incredible.
Our son is graduating from Marine Corps boot camp, and earning the title of United States Marine. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, one he has worked so hard for, and we want so badly to be there to see him cross that finish line.
The reality is, we live paycheck to paycheck. We cover our bills, keep food on the table, and do our best, but a trip to San Diego is simply out of reach for us on our own.
So we’re humbly asking: if you feel led to give, share, or support in any way, you would be helping a family show up for one of the proudest days of our lives. Even the smallest amount brings us closer to being there for him.
