We are thrilled to introduce you to Kaidhyn, an incredible young athlete who has been selected to represent the United States in Track and Field at the World Ability Games in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand this December. As Kaidhyn prepares for this prestigious event, we kindly ask for your support through donations to help him fulfill his dream of competing on the international stage.
At just 18 years old, Kaidhyn is a freshman at Midway University, where he is studying Sport Management. Since the age of 12, he has been honing his skills in shotput, discus, and javelin. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a stroke shortly after birth that caused hemiplegia, right-side weakness, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy, Kaidhyn has never let his conditions hinder his passion for sports.
Kaidhyn's love for athletics extends beyond track and field. He also played high school football, showcasing his determination and resilience on the field. However, it is in the realm of adaptive sports that Kaidhyn truly shines.
In recent years, Kaidhyn has achieved remarkable success in adaptive shotput and discus. He has not only won but also set records for the Kentucky State 3A Meet in Adaptive Shotput in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as Adaptive Discus in 2023. These outstanding accomplishments are a testament to Kaidhyn's unwavering dedication and hard work.
Furthermore, at the Move United US Nationals, Kaidhyn's exceptional talent and unwavering spirit led him to win gold medals in shotput, discus, and javelin. He even set national records for his division and age group, solidifying his position as one of the best adaptive athletes in the country.
Now, with the honor of being selected to represent the United States at the World Ability Games, Kaidhyn's journey has reached new heights. This opportunity on the international stage not only recognizes his extraordinary talent but also serves as a source of inspiration to athletes around the world.
We kindly ask for your support in helping Kaidhyn make his dreams a reality. Your generous donations will contribute to travel expenses, training costs, and equipment necessary for Kaidhyn to compete at the World Ability Games. Together, let us rally behind this remarkable young athlete and show our support for his journey towards excellence.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in Kaidhyn's pursuit of success.
