Hello! I am Miss Charlotte Mecklenburg’s Teen, Mia Geter. I will be competing in High Point, North Carolina this June for the title of Miss North Carolina's Teen. I am raising money for the Miss America Scholarship program. The scholarships are paid directly to higher education institutions and are 100% tax deductible.
The Miss America Organization's mission is to empower women through education, largely by providing scholarship assistance - from the local communities, all the way to our national competition.

Miss America and Miss America’s Teen Scholarships are awarded by a separate non-profit 501(c)(3) organization from the Miss America Organization named The Miss America’s Scholarship Foundation, which is licensed to administer scholarship awards designated by the Miss America Organization. Donations made through this campaign will directly benefit the delegate's state organization to award scholarships, as well as scholarships awarded by the Miss America Organization through the partner foundation, which is a501(c)(3). As a 501(c)(3), donations are tax deductible per IRS regulations.
